$4.75 Million settlement has been reached on behalf of a 50 year old man who suffered an anoxic event during the performance of a transesophageal echocardiogram at a Lake County Medical Facility.   As a result of the loss of oxygen the plaintiff now suffers from action myoclonus.  This is a rare and debilitating neurological condition.  Daniel T. Madigan prepared this case for trial and negotiated the settlement on behalf of the man and his wife.  This case was filed in the Circuit Court of Lake County.
