$4.75 Million settlement has been reached on behalf of a 50 year old man who suffered an anoxic event during the performance of a transesophageal echocardiogram at a Lake County Medical Facility.   As a result of the loss of oxygen the plaintiff now suffers from action myoclonus.  This is a rare and debilitating neurological condition.  Daniel T.
