The team obtained a $3,035,126. verdict for Annette Mineo against Rock Valley Compounding Pharmacy. The pharmacy neglected several safety and labeling inspections, causing it to mis-fill Ms. Mineo’s thyroid medication by dispensing a drug that was 1,000 times more potent than prescribed. Ms. Mineo consumed the prescription drug and was caused to be in a near-comatose state and was hospitalized for nearly a month. After being discharged, she continued suffering physical, cognitive, and mental health injuries, specifically PTSD.

The verdict was rendered by the Honorable Judge Lorna Propes after a one-week trial. The verdict plus interest and costs have been paid in full by Rock Valley Compounding Pharmacy LLC. The case number is 2019 L 3553 in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois.
