Steve grew up in the Western suburbs, and then graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. After earning his law degree from Ohio Northern University, he worked at the United States Department of Justice and, later, the U.S. Department of the Interior in Washington, D.C. Steve earned several commendations for his counsel, including a special citation from the Secretary of the Interior for outstanding service.
After 9/11, he returned home to Chicago to focus his practice on medical malpractice and personal injury lawsuits. Initially, Steve represented hospitals and physicians in such lawsuits, providing him with valuable insight into hospital procedures. He brings that valuable experience to Motherway & Napleton, LLP, in representing individuals and families who have been injured and who need experienced counsel to represent them.
